Our Dynamic and His Sense of Humor

Lately, Blogland has been sporadic for me.  Had some medical issues that will keep me down for about four months but if the recovery is handled well, I'll be pain and problem free for the first time in a very long time.  Although things are on schedule, it's understandably difficult and there were some big scares along the way. As a result, Eric is handling me with kid gloves and what I mean by that, is Eric isn't handling me at all! No spanking and no sex.

"No Amy Lynn.  Not until you are 100%."

Mind you, my husband is being very protective and sweet with this proclamation and I do know there are men in the world who demand to be pleasured regardless of the state their mate is in, so this is not a complaint by any means, just a story.

Frankly, the girl does not handle the word "no" well. On top of that, I'm lying around all the time, am home bound, and bored.  The perfect combination to get sexually wound up and in trouble!

The other day, I couldn't stand it any longer. I texted Eric to come upstairs. He dashed into our room to make sure I was okay and found me naked, knees spread wide open, with a little table tent on my belly that read, "open for business".

Without skipping a beat, Eric took the card, left the room for a moment, came back, returned the card, and went downstairs. I waited to see if he was going to come back but he didn't so disappointed, I took the card off my tummy and looked at it. My message had been crossed out and Eric had written, "Closed for remodeling".

That man!!  Since then, Eric has found a way to hook me up pretty darn good without injuring the healing areas so things are looking up! It'll be a long haul though.  Hmmm. How shall I toy with him next? :D

    1. Being in pain is debilitating so it's always a good sign when we can start to play with each other again. On the mend!

  2. Too fun! Eric has a good sense of humor or maybe just knows how to handle yours. LOL!

So sorry you're not feeling well, but at least it sounds like you're starting to feel better! That's a long recovery. Hang in there, my friend!

  3. Amy,
What is it about the lying around and waiting for something to heal or even kind of not feeling well in certain ways that makes us want to do the very things we're not supposed to..... sex stuff and spankings!! Isn't it crazy how that happens? Maybe not given the kinds of imaginations we ttwd gals have. LOL I hope you are on the mend. Hang in there. You are one tough cookie and I'm rooting for ya! And your Eric sounds like a real hoot!! Hilarious and clever!! HUGS! Windy

    1. Thanks Windy. The better I feel the more silly and creative I seem to get. It's good for both of us and Eric jumps right in as soon as he see's I'm on an upward swing. He keeps me laughing. Truly the best medicine when I'm healing.

    1. Hi Abby! I'm at a complete loss as to why it is so hard for you to get on my Blog but you haven't been the only one with this issue. Odd, huh? And I do think it has something to do with how often I post. As for writing, the better I feel, the more I should write. I'll let you know!

  6. I am not sure if you were in blogland or not back when I was injured. It was a horrible time for me. I remember feeling like I was losing myself. Happy to see you are taking it all in stride, or as best you can.

    1. On good days, I can look past the waiting period and get a few playful jabs at my husband. He's a good guy. Plays back but keeps me from overdoing it and hurting myself. The better I feel, the more trouble I will find myself in. Could be good times!

  9. So sorry to hear you're having medical issues again - I hate that for you. It's wonderful that Eric is so concerned and caring, but I can imagine how deprived you feel! I think the "open for business" card was brilliant, but sounds like he trumped that, and i'm guessing he knows what he's doing. Take care of yourself, hoping you're healed and all better soon!!

    1. Thanks Olivia. It's a long haul but will be totally worth it. I've dealt with too much pain for too long and it really puts a damper on life. Time to get well for real! No more band aids. :)

  11. Poor girl! You have had more than your share of medical issues lately. I do remember a surgery I had back in 2015, and the recuperation seemed to go on and on. Hope you will get the doctor's OK soon, Amy.

BTW I loved that Eric has found a creative way to keep you happy. Be sure you are reciprocating! That man deserves an award.

    Hugs From Ella
