FFF Goals - Hold Me Accountable

Fondlers Anonymous is getting us all organized enough to cheer each other on every Friday.  With Eric gone for three more weeks, I'm having a terrible time sticking with anything other than long hours in front of the television, mounds of carbs and candy in my belly, and lonely boo-hooing in our bedroom. So my blog friends, here are my goals.  Maybe together we can get me MOVING and off the pout train.

Goals:
Lose 10-15 pounds
Write a chapter a week
Exercise 10,000 steps a day and go to the gym three times a week

Believe it or not, I find it easier to hold to the exercise than eating healthy.  I've got a friend who will meet me at the gym so I won't skip out and stand her up.  My kids gave me a Fitbit for Christmas so I can easily track my paces around the office.  I added "write a chapter a week" hoping that writing will be an emotional release so I don't turn to unhealthy food.

That's the plan.  Any suggestions?

Amy

  2. Hi Amy, aim to lose a little bit each week, I found once I stopped the sugar, afetr a little while I didn't crave it. I did and still do allow myself to eat something sugar free that I wouldn't have eaten normally on a diet. I still lost weight even though that wasn't my aim so maybe you could try that and gradually cut whatever that is out next. Good luck

    1. I am on a total sugar high - one last hurrah before the big day. Baby steps. Okay. I'll take it slow but steady.

  6. Sounds awesome. I should maybe rename the movement - Fit for Everyday! Cos we all seem to be wanting to get on with it already. I know i am!

Cut out the sugars gradually so your body doesnt crash and u dont go craving. If u want to snack, try fruit.

  7. Good goals, Amy. After dinner is my hard time. If my hands aren't busy, then I want to eat. It is better if I get out my laptop even if I am watching tv at the same time. Sometimes I work on these ornaments I am making by hand.

    1. When I'm serious about exercising and losing weight, I find I go to bed super early to avoid that night time desire to snack. I'm ready to get healthy. It's been too long since I've felt strong.
